It is a sad day! Today we are headed back to Dallas. This was such a wonderful trip! I am so thankful I got to come here. How amazing. This truly is paradise. I understand why people love the tropics now!
We ha breakfast again, then went poolside and hung out and swam a little bit. We looked around for Bart to say adios but we couldn't find him.
Down on the beach the little sales people were waiting for us with their blankets, as promised. We saw the creepy guy in the green hat and avoided him like the plague even though he called to us "amigas amigas!" No no no. Walk on!!! Rick stopped and got a henna from the guy in the green hat's amigo.
Brooke and I progressed to pick out our blankets, I bought her one :) and I got them for about 700 pesos... He wanted 50 American dollars for each... So no, we haggled him down. I didn't wanna get too far down coz I know they needs the money. Poor Mexicans. He let us take them up to the resort before we paid for them because I had to go to the ATM. It was weird because we just took them with us. Lol! He insisted.
We proceeded down the beach to the other group of sales people, and it was a long walk! Hot feet! We got there and were instantly approached by a guy and he said blah blah blah necklace, I said no no señor I want one of them pretty plate for my mama. So three of the guys bustle around looking for the plate guy and see him and yell "platos!!! Platos!!!" The guy down there scrambles to pick up his loot and come to us, but I go over there instead lol heavy platos pobre hombre lol. Anyhow, I picked out a bowl thing for my mamas new kitchen. Es bonita.
Meanwhile while the guys were scrambling to find the plate man, some creeper with nasty teeth told me about five times that he had weed and if I want some. NO. Alto alto alto. Eyy eyy. Creep.
After we collected enough loot from the Chicanos on the beach, we went back to shower up, get pretty then go take so pictures on the beach. It is so beautiful here.
We took pictures, spent my last pesos at the gift shop and grabbed some sammiches and waited for five minutes for our bus. We said goodbye to Paulino, our little guide, and I have him a hug. He was so sweet and helpful to us. He's a nice man. He shuffles his feet when he is in a hurry so that's pretty cute. Lol!
Now I am on the bus looking out on the Baja desert, as we go to the airport. Adios Cabo. Te amo. Y amo Mexico y Mexicans.
I hope that after I graduate i can move here for a year, bartend and just have a good time. Then come back and live somewhere nice in the US, settle down and all that stupid crap ;)
Nothing really eventful happened on the way back except at customs the officer told us we are only supposed to have one liter of alcohol duty free per adult. Lol. We technically had 5. Oops!!! He let us go though! Horay!
I'm cuddled up with Mexican blanket and ready for bed.
Amo Mexico ❤💚💛
