Hola Amigos.
Yo hablo espanol. Y quiero un siesta.
Well whatever. I am covered in sea salt. Today has so far been eventful and fun. We got up around 8am, got dressed and went to breakfast. I had my first expresso. I liked it a lot. I also had two cappuccinos. I was ready for the day. We went to schedule our day with the concierge dude. Then we went to the mall to get clothes to ride the jet skis in!
The mall was cool. It was small but we found a surf shop that had what we wanted! I got a sticker to put on dads old hard suitcase. It's gonna be cool. For a surf outfit sorta and a Cabo tank top. On our way back the cab took us a weird way and we passed a road that was flooded.... It smelled awful. Raw sewage. It made me sad for the people that live there...
We got back, and went an laid on the beach for a while with mojitos and daiquiris. Est muy beuno. I talked to some Chicano that was trying I sell some jewelry to me. Of course I would pick out the expensive one... Ugh. So I didn't get it. Not that I had any money anyway...
Jet skiing was next on the list. Once we got our skiis, which took a decent while, it was so amazing. I was solo for a while. It was so beautiful on the sea of Cortez. I drove around to the rock formations and gazed at the natural arch. A sea lion just popped his head above the water for a second at one point! It was so awesome to see the animal in their natural habitat and not a zoo! Since under my chin is burnt, or dry or whatever it is that is making it hurt and burn.... I ended up pulling my shirt off and putting it on my neck so the wind and sea water wouldn't hurt it like it had been doing! It burned! I also got salt water in my eyes while I was driving and it was so painful! Lol. Worth it. Anyway with Brooke we went all around and I actually enjoyed riding on the back more than I thought I would. It was relaxing. We went back to the arch and or closer than I did. And on one of the rock things there was a huge pack of sea lions! Over a dozen were there! God did they smell TERRIBLE. Pew.
After returning to shore, because we were out of time and freezing our asses off, we went to wash our sun glasses off and then say at a bar with swings for "stools". It was cute. But we were still really cold. I had a corona. Eventually I asked the (cute) bartender if we could sit in the while lounge chairs over in the sun, because we were cold. He kind of disregarded my question and told me he had a poncho I can wear instead!! Lol! So he brought be a one! It was very warm, like it had been laying in the sun! Thank god because I was about to turn into frosty the snowman because of the wind.
After the bar we went out by the water again and got some more sun. Rick got a henna tat on his arm of barbed wire lol. The Chicanos tried to sell us all kinds of shit. It got pretty annoying. Like "alto, quiero dormir". Geeze. I jus started ignoring them after a while... Oh well. Ii asked a guy if he had the time, in espanol. Winning.
Dinner was cool. We went to the buffet style place for the quickness and practicality. It was the best buffet I have had! So much stuff and it was so good! Loads of fresh fish! Mexicans love sushi! WTF. I had a glass of zinfandel wine and it was rancid. Lol. Ill stick to margaritas. We got our pic with some dressed up Chica . She was dressed so cool!
After dinner we decided to play pool. Getting the coins to do so was interesting. We had to use the ATM to get some pesos out... The thing didnt have a language option! Only Spanish. I mean, I know some Spanish but not crap that is on an ATM. I know how to say "I want a beer"... Anyhow after snickering over the ATM, asking a handsome resort employee the exchange rate...and agreeing to the $6 service fee... We got out $500 pesos. Went to the front desk and got change for the pesos.
We played pool. Broke and I won! There was a guy there who was from Columbus! He said hi to me because I had my pay shirt on! Yay! Two people said something to me regarding OSU! (Positive feedback).
The resort provides us with packed sammiches and salads if we are going out, so we gathered some up after a long contemplation on which thin sammiches to get... They even had the crust cut off! Fancyyyy.
I am extremely tired from today's activities! My face is lobsteresk, and my dry skin neck is nasty and painful! Wtf. Why am I healthy in Ohio but a medical disaster when I leave? THIS IS WHY WE DON'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
Deep sea fishing tomorrow! 6:30am. Boom. Expresso to go.
Buenos noches.
